As I write this on Tuesday night, I realize I have no time to interview the talented and easy-going Jack McKenzie, so will reschedule with him after his hockey game next week. Because tonight I am baking a MYSTERY CAKE for my Wednesday blog stop, Vintage Cookbooks with Amy Alessio!
Why is it a Mystery Cake? The mystery ingredient, of course! You’ll have to stop by Amy’s site to find out what it is. Meanwhile, I have to run out to the store to buy some nutmeats. And yes, sadly, I had to look up “nutmeats” at Wikipedia. I’m a lame cook. Don’t tell Amy.
